In hindsight, the two races that were scratched from the schedule were welcomed and unexpected weeks off for everyone in a busy racing schedule. Between Kanaka Ikaika, PAA and all the independent races on the schedule, it makes one tired just thinking about doing them all. Thanks to Bud Light, Kialoa Paddles, Haleiwa Joe's, ENZA New Zealand fruit, Hinano and Foti Bros., and all who contributed to the endeavor — Jim Foti After the paddlers arrived at the finish at Kaimana Beach and put away their canoes, they all headed down to Lulu's in Waikiki for food, party awards and givaways.
